If the Air Jordan III was meant to represent Tinker Hatfield’s idea of luxury, then the Jordan Retro 6 stands for MJ’s personal idea of luxury. Michael Jordan asked the visionary designer to model the shoe after his luxury German sportscar, leading to the creation of the heel tab or “spoiler” of the shoe.
