| New for 2013, Baden Sports presents their new BBCOR baseball bats, including the Axe Elite. The revolutionary design is exactly what it sounds like. The handle of an Axe bat is designed like the handle of an actual axe, providing optimal control of the bat. This asymmetrical handle is biomechanically engineered for a flush fit and helps keep a hitter on the correct swing plane. As a result, players get better barrel accuracy and a decreased risk of injury and hand fatigue. The Axe Elite is a two-piece hybrid design made from Baden's LP Scandium Alloy. This LP (Longitudinal Performance) alloy is enhanced aluminum designed to lengthen the sweet spot and increase durability. Also featuring an evenly balanced swing weight and a full composite handle. The elements all come together to give players maximum bat speed and a massive hitting surface for easily powerful swings. -3 weight ratio and a 2 5/8" barrel. Comes in 31", 32", 33" and 34" lengths. BBCOR Certified and approved for high school and collegiate play. Includes a full 12-month manufacturer's warranty.
