| From top to bottom, the ASICS® GEL-Excel33™ running shoe is constructed with premium features that maximize performance while minimizing weight. Provides a go-fast feel appropriate for underpronators to mild overpronators. Open mesh encompasses the majority of the upper and offers breathability to keep the foot cool. PHF™ (Personalized Heel Fit) creates a personalized fit. ComforDry sockliner is made from an anti-bacterial material that not only reduces odor and moisture but also provides additional cushioning. SpEVA™ midsole material improves bounce-back characteristics and decreases midsole breakdown. Rearfoot and forefoot Gel® Cushioning System attenuates shock. Impact Guidance System (IGS®) is utilized in the lateral heel to further decouple the shock of the heelstrike. Solyte™ midsole is very light for the level of cushioning and durability it delivers. Guidance Line is a vertical flex groove component of IGS® and is primarily articulated in the forefoot to improve gait efficiency. ASICS® High Abrasion Rubber (AHAR®) outsole offers exceptional durability. Trusstic System® also helps reduce the weight of the shoe while retaining structural integrity. Removable insole.
