| Louisville Slugger hit one out of the park with their Vertex TPX Bat. They've improved composite/alloy hybrid design by optimizing the properties of AC21 Scandium to maximize performance and durability. AC21 Scandium when combined with composite ensures thin walls, outstanding durability and unmatched performance. LS-2X: Their new thinner high-strength and lightweight graphite fibers allow reduced wall thickness, creating better performance while maintaining durability. Thinner fibers allow use of more layers for added strength. The Vertex design utilizes a full LS-2X composite handle and transition area. The move to a full 100% graphite composite design in the transition allows for an even stiffer handle than offered in Exogrid. Graphite is lighter and stronger than aluminum, allowing for a stiffer handle. A stiff handle produces more barrel flex, resulting in maximum trampoline effect and, ultimately, greater performance. **Bats returned to Eastbay must be unused and in the original wrapper.** SL12VXL specs: -9.5 weight ratio; 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32 oz; 2 3/4" barrel; 7/8" tapered handle with synthetic grip; two-color, split barrel design; Pro Cup end cap.
