| The Nike Air Zoom Moire+ running shoe is designed for athletes who like to run with music and who want to measure and monitor their progress vs. their goals. A sensor placed under the sockliner of the left Nike+ ready shoe measures your pace, distance, time elapsed and calories burned. This information is transmitted wirelessly to a receiver on an Apple iPod nano for real time audio feedback while you listen to your favorite workout music. Reflectivity on the heel helps with night visibility. Lightweight upper Clarino material is exceptionally strong, providing great support. Laser cut perforation in the Clarino material for added breathability. No sew construction on the upper reduces the weight of the shoe and increases internal comfort, while also providing a sleek look. Anatomically correct sockliner uses a firm TPU shell in combination with a soft compressible EVA foam footbed designed to quickly compress and mold to the contoures of the foot for a custom fit. Heel Zoom Air™ unit provides low profile responsive cushioning. Full length Phylon™ midsole adds lightweight cushioning. The midsole sidewalls wrap up around the foot on the medial and lateral sides, centering the foot on the footbed. EVA strobel last construction uses a soft EVA top layer which enhances cushioning. Highly abrasion resistant BRS 1000™ carbon rubber at the lateral heel strike zone provides durability in the high wear areas. Vertical flex groove combined with horizontal flex grooves across the midfoot allow torsion between the forefoot and rearfoot to occur, encouraging natural resupination during toe off.
