Highland Mint Super Bowl Coin Set

As the company commissioned by the NFL to make the Super Bowl flip coin for the past 10 years, the Highland Mint has been granted the approval to go back in time and commemorate past Super Bowls. This unique match-numbered souvenir coin collection commemorates the Oakland Raiders championship teams of Super Bowls XI, XV and XVIII. Each coin has a similar design of the current flip coins that include dueling helmets, ribbons with team names and Super Bowl commemoration on the front. The reverse side of the coin features the Super Bowl logo for that year as well as the date that the game was played. Super Bowl XI: This coin features the NFL Shield instead of the Lombardi Trophy and includes the score of the game on the front of the coin: Oakland 32, Minnesota 14. Super Bowl XV: This coin features the NFL Shield instead of the Lombardi Trophy and includes the score of the game on the front of the coin: Oakland 27, Philadelphia 10. Super Bowl XXIII: This coin features the NFL Shield instead of the Lombardi Trophy and includes the score of the game on the front of the coin: San Francisco 20, Cincinnati 16. Super Bowl XVIII: This coin features the NFL Shield instead of the Lombardi Trophy and includes the score of the game on the front of the coin: Los Angeles 38, Washington 9. Each of the coins is individually numbered and individually placed in a clear, protective capsule and presented in a custom, black velour jewelry box. A numbered certificate of authenticity accompanies each set. |
