Highland Mint Super Bowl Coin Set

As the company commissioned by the NFL to make the Super Bowl flip coin for the past 10 years, the Highland Mint has been granted the approval to go back in time and commemorate past Super Bowls. This unique match-numbered souvenir coin collection commemorates the Packers championship teams of Super Bowls I, II and XXXI. Each coin has a similar design of the current flip coins that includes dueling helmets, ribbons with team names and Super Bowl commemoration on the front. The reverse side of the coin features the Super Bowl logo for that year as well as the date that the game was played. Super Bowl I: This coin features the NFL Shield instead of the Lombardi Trophy and score of the game: Green Bay 35, Kansas City 10. Super Bowl II: This coin features the NFL Shield instead of the Lombardi Trophy and score of the game: Green Bay 33, Oakland 14. Super Bowl XXXI: This is the only coin in the set to feature the Vince Lombardi Trophy, since it is a exact replica of the coin flipped in the game: Green Bay 35, New England 21. Each of the coins is individually numbered and individually placed in a clear, protective capsule and presented in a custom, black velour jewelry box. A numbered certificate of authenticity accompanies each set. |
